CPTSD Lingo & Therapy Words You Should Know

Self-trust & self-regulation tools for late-diagnosed women with CPTSD

You’ve gone through most of your life feeling like an alien pretending to be human – often misunderstood, told you were “too sensitive”, and harmed repeatedly by people who took advantage of the fact that you looked at the world differently.

Now, with your diagnosis in hand, or a strong suspicion you’re neurodivergent, you’re finally able to see that none of it was ever your fault…

Your brain just works differently.

But that’s also low-key terrifying. If you’re ready to stop pretending to be like everyone else, but you’re also afraid that your entire personality is really just your neurodivergence – you’re in the right place.

What skills and coping strategies will you work on developing here?

It’s important to note that the resources on this website HAVE NOT BEEN reviewed by a Psychologist or Psychiatrist of any kind.

Instead, these activities and self-assessment tools are based on scientifically-proven emotional regulation and self-exploration methods found in peer-reviewed psychology text books & personal development books, in addition to information learned through personal lived experiences.

The type of information you’re interacting with (peer-reviewed vs. lived experience) is also clearly labelled – allowing you to decided which guides, games, and workbooks you prefer.

In other words, we are not therapists and can’t officially diagnose you or give you any kind of treatment plan.

As such, these tools are meant to be used in coordination with guidance from your primary healthcare professional.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

Are you a licensed or registered therapist of any kind?

No. None of the materials available on this website have been approved or endorsed by a licensed or registered psychologist, psychiatrist, or therapist of any kind. Instead, all of our resources are developed using scientifically-proven methods of emotional and nervous system regulation found in peer-reviewed psychology textbooks and studies. In addition, I share my lived experiences as a late-diagnosed woman with CPTSD and suspected ASD-1, always careful to differentiate between what works for ME and what the science says.

Does a human being make your games or do you use AI?

A human being makes every single one of our murder mystery games, workbooks, worksheets, and self-assessment tools by hand – using their unique skills and lived experiences. We do not use AI to produce any of our storylines or completed products.

If I subscribe to one of the subscription-based programs or healing clubs, can I cancel at any time?

Of course. When you cancel, your subscription will not renew on the following month, and you’ll be able to continue enjoying all the benefits of your subscription until the currently paid for month ends. We do not offer refunds due to the downloadable nature of our product line.

What’s your Refund Policy?

Due to the downloadable nature of our products, we DO NOT OFFER refunds. This said, customer satisfaction is important to us, so if there’s ever an issue with your order we are happy to discuss how we can help.

After I checkout, how quickly can I expect to receive my order?

After completing your checkout, you’ll receive an email confirmation with your exclusive download link(s) within 2-5 minutes. If you don’t see it in your inbox, be sure to check your junk mail. If it’s still not there, please contact us.

Do you make money off of the products and services you share that aren’t yours?

Yes, I work with brands I love and use at least monthly, to get paid when I share exactly what I love about them (and if you have a following or a side hustle, you should too!).

I choose new brands to work with ONLY IF I believe in their products, values, and customer service policies.

I also won’t endorse or recommend a product we don’t personally use, and I mark promotions clearly so you’ll always know who sponsored a post, provided a complimentary product to review, or paid for promotion.
